about my 2003 jeep cherokee radiator fan

ok truck started to over heat thought it was the relay and change that but still the fan did not turn on trouble shoot the fan to the starter and it turn on so the I switch out the sensor thinking it was that but still no fan turn on change the thermostat and still no fan turning was wondering can someone help please has a 4.0 straight six engine

You checked the relay did you check the fuse and what sensor are you talking about that you changed out ? The fan does run when you hook power to it right ? Check connections going to fan maybe loose or corroded.

Yes I put the temperature sensor and replace the termostat fan does work when it's directly to the battery but when I plug it back to the connection where I believe it goes to the relay which I change too it over heats and the gauge goes over 200 without kicking on the fan thank you for getting back to me just real puzzle about it all

Just so we are on the same page the temperature sensor you replaced is for the temperature gauge not the coolest temperature sensor that tells the fan when to come on when vehicle reaches operating temperature.
