Front or rear differential possibly going out?

I can't a strange noise coming from somewhere
that sounds like tire rub, but it's not. When I turn
left at slow speeds and or reverse left there is a
starnge noise coming from somewhere. I thought
it was just tried rub until it started to get worse.

My guess is a bad axle bearing that makes noise as it is side loaded. Easy to replace. Lift the vehicle and try to see if there is any wheel movement from top to bottom as you move it in and out at the top and the bottom. Iif so you have found your culprit bearing.
