check basics before panicking. FUEL (gas tank empty? fuel pump or carb working?) SPARK (in this case before we get into plugs and distributor) lets check starting spark meaning, is your battery good, alternator working, and starter in order. COMPRESSION,( lets not worry about compression until you check the first 2.)
