2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. Engine 4L straight 6. Vehicle engine

while driving vehicle and runs normal a little below 200 degrees (per dash gauge). Cooling
fan is electric and separate from water pump. Thermostat and radiator cap recently
replaced.

The major problem I had with my Jeep electric fan motor was the brushes were intermittent; tapped fan motor with a screwdriver handle (while off of course) and fan motors has been fine since, going on six months. Only other major problem was battery cables corrode internally next to battery. I cut back two inches of wire and replaced the battery connectors and have had good operation since. Seems a lot of problems are due to poor electrical conduction.

Check and make sure your engine fan comes on, you may have a short in wires to fan, clutch in fan may be blown, run hot wire to fan see if fan runs. Good luck.
