On 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, which way should the cooling fann turn?? Blowing out or pulling in??

As your vehicle goes down the road, the airflow is through the grill and into the engine compartment- the cooling fans should enhance this and go with the flow- now, are you SURE this isn't what your fan is doing? if it is turning the wrong way, maybe switch the wires? idk- sounds weird to me-

Did you install an OEM part or an aftermarket UNIVERSAL type fan? Did you "wire" this yourself or is it the original connection plug
Thanks Mark.. I was just told that the fans was blowing air out the front of the Grill when it is on. I was told it should pull air in.. (Smiles) I'm not a mechanic type person; but sounded weird to me also... Tried switching wires but fan still blew the same way.. Just was checking if there is another way to reverse fan???
Mark; I installed an aftermarket UNIVERSAL type fan.

Yes, IT matters. If you can change the wiring see if it will rotate the opposite way? OR If its mounted correctly you have a problem unless you can "flip" the fan blade to draw through the radiator just a motor rotation change might not help I can't see the fan blade pitch it might be directional only. READ the instructions ( can be set up to rotate in either direction) that came with the fan kit.
This is Alvin, I was told that in my Jeep the fan should spin clockwise ( to the right if you are facing the vehicle), I've been watching my cages real close and so far it hasn't went pass normal temp. It's been dead on it but not past. So I'm hoping I'm good.
