Rear Door Power Locks do not operate

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just the 2 rear door power locks do not operate. Both front door and hatch locks work fine. Mechanic want $1100 to fix just the 2 doors. Seems expensive. This is the first vehicle I ever had with remote locks. For now I am manual locking them like the old days. What could cause just these two locks to fail at the same time?

Hatch lock failed too. Bought rear door and hatch replacements and tools and retainer gizmos for door panels. Found parts on Amazon and Ebay during virus shutdown. Will DIY the repair and see if it works. Worried more complex failure of car computer may be at fault.
