German and Japanese. Apples and oranges. No Toyota engine I know will work, without extensive modifications. But just to check, I am going do do some research right now
Only thing I could find even remotely related is an article about putting an Audi V8 in a Toyota, for high-performance. http://www.dpccars.com/gallery/index.php/Toyota-MR2-with-Audi-V8-engine-swap. And correct me if I am mistaken Afghanistan is a left-side drive car --right-side-road Country. as is US. This is a one-of-a-kind custom job that even the article uses the word 'outrageous', a right hand drive at that. But I am curious, why the idea? Are Toyota engines available and not Audi? I have no clue about what is available, cars, parts, etc. in Afghanistan. But from my limited knowledge best bet is look for another car alltogether
By the way, "Apples and Oranges" is an American idiom for they won't mix. No offense, your English is excellent
Mark, thank you very much for reply, your thoughts are really appreciated. in Afghanistan we have same hand drive as in THE USA. our market is captured by Toyota as the repairs are very cheap here. i am attaching some photos for your information. you can see i have opened up everything from this car, engine, gearbox etc. engine is took for repair and the other cleaning process we are doing at home. now i have one more question. is it possible to make this car only from wheel drive. we don't need AWD all time. from wheel drive is enough for us. Regards, Shah
Sorry for misspell, i meant front wheel drive. if i disconnect the rear wheel will it work?
