Jeep over heating

If i crank my jeep and allow it to sit still for a couple
of minutes it will begin to over heat but when i
drive it it begins to cool down. What could it be?

You have an air bubble trapped... you can buy an adapter that goes where your radiator cap goes you fill it up and let your car run and run and keep filling it till it stops taking antifreeze air pocket gone problem gone
