Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee, the front driver's side cv axle is severly
stuck in the differential. i have tried using a slide hammer, and bolted a chain to
it and tied the chain to a sledge hammer and still can't get it to break loose. Am
i missing something? everything that i read and all the videos i watch say that it
should pop right out.

The splines are probably twisted on the back side while you pull the splines axle through the splines will bind severely. . You will need to find a way to drive it out. Or pull it out.
