where is the mass air flow sensor on my 1990 Lincoln town car?

Mark. That would be the obvious place. However it is not there. I have been told it does not have one and that was the last year for the MAP sensor. I have the classic symptoms, hiccups in second gear or going up a hill, stall etc... It has had a complete tune up. I have googled etc... and can't find location. here is a picture of my engine. If you see it can you please point it out. I know what one looks like but maybe I'm just missing it.
