my drivers window on my 1997 town car wont move. all I hear is a single
clicking sound when using the switch in either the up or down direction. what
could be wrong?

Might be the window motor, check your fuses first. Sometimes the window track gets worn and hangs up the window preventing the window from doing anything. Other thoughts are a pinched wiring issue going to the door have a look for frayed wires Good Luck!
