If the horizontal seat motor is ok? You can use jumper wires off the battery for voltage and ground at the seat motor terminals. It's a reversing motor, so you reverse the leads to go the other way. Click on the diagram to enlarge. The diagram says forward/backward motor, same thing. good luck

I have a 1997 TC that I would not trade for ANY of these later TC's.Sound to me like quality control issues from day one.I was driving an 09 when it turned 40,000 miles and it seen=med heavy and sluggish on the interstate. One of these with a 460 with EFI would be a real road car but these later TC's are too heavy for the dinky 4.6.
