can you move the seat back on a 1999 lincoln towncar

I need to move the seat back on my towncar. is there anyway to move the seat back.the seat goes forward and backward just not far enough

The seat rides on metal rails on the floor. Have a repair or collision shop modify the rails so the seat travels further back.

Are you sure that it's going back as far as it goes? one of my town cars the slide rails got jamed and justed needed to be cleaned up. If infact it is not going back as far as it should and you don't see anything in the way push the back seat button and push with your legs to make it go all the way back
