battery goes dead while driving

New Battery new bench checked Alternator. Red battery light stays on dash.
Car drives but seems not to be charging because then all the electrical shuts
off and dies while driving. I Charge the battery and same results. All wires
battery terminals and fuses are good.

Well there is a problem with the charging system somewhere. May have to have a shop look at why the alternator is not charging.

It is possible that the wire going from the alternator to the battery has a bad fusible link. Check while engine is off to see if there is approximately 12 volts at the large alternator wire. If not then there is a problem somewhere along that wire.
