I HAVE A 1999 LINCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE. SOMETIMES, ON A FEW OCCASSIONS, WHEN I GO TO START THE CAR AND TURN THE KEY IN THE IGNITION, EVEYTHING ON THE DASH GOES BLACK AND THE CAR WON'T START. I WILL TURN THE KEY A FEW TIMES AND THEN THE CAR STARTS. IT HAS HAPPENED WITH BOTH KEYS. I HAD THE KEYS CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THE CHIP INSIDE THE KEY WAS GOOD AND THEY ARE. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

something with the ignition switch maybe. the chips in the keys wouldn't cause that concern.
