CAN I USE CASTROL TRANSMAX DER/MERC IN MY 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR

Oops, wrote that wrong. It calls for Mercon V in the owners manual, and according to the Castrol web site "transmax DER ~MERC recommend for older Ford and GM vehicles"

Agree with david. I always use what it recommends on the dipstick, or in the owners manual.
