Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2001 Lincoln town car. Replaced motor and
regulator. Now when trying to roll window up,
the window Cocks forward . Then gets in a
jam, and stops rolling up. I have tried to
adjust tracks but still have the issue

Is the window fully secured to the track? Obviously you know there's still a problem with the regulator or track.

Yes it is bolted in and in the track on both sides and the track has been adjusted to where it should not cock forward like that. But for some reason it still does. Looks to me like the plastic piece that slides up and down on the track has a little play in it. Not sure if it’s supposed to have that much play in it or not. May have something to do with cheap new parts
