Alternator

Asked by Roykehoe Nov 28, 2016 at 04:53 PM about the 2005 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Purchased alternator for 2005Towncar
Signature,  pn DL3413-16-1. (130 amp.)The
plug configuration is different. Facing
engine, old alternator has white, somewhat
round style female plug on right side, while
replacement alternator
has this white receptacle plug on left side
and is
more oblong shaped.  Have checked on p. n.
of replacement with several stores and this
is one  shown as replacement for 2005
Towncar Signature model as well as for
several
other years.  No traceable pn on old one.
Don't know what to do at this point .Pls help.

Take the old one in to match up with a new one. Simple when you do that!
