where is the fuse box

Should be one under dash or in glove box area and one under hood.

open the hood and look near the windshield under the wiper on the drivers side.

On the 1998 A4 Audi Cabriolet the fuse box is located directly in front of steering wheel in the engine compartment. If you open the hood of the car and are standing in front of it, the fuse box is all the way to the back under the windshield whipers. There is a channel under the wind shield whipers. It is very easy to miss. Far right hand side in the channel you will see a black box. that shoudl be your fuse box. I searched this myself for DAYS. Most sights want to SELL you something to get the answer.
