94 gear shift

I have a 94 grand marquis and I can't get it out of
reverse is there any alley key nuts under the dash

It could be your stoplight switch is bad, or one of the wires broke going to it. Happened to mine (wire). at top of brake pedal arm. Safety lockout won't release if the brake lights don't work. there is a new wiring pigtail available.
