oil gauge keeps radically changing when decelerating while driving

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Oil indicator goes all the way down and up while decelerating, off and on. Oil
is full.

I'd replace the sensor, if that doesn't do it, I'd suspect the oil pickup screen being loose in the pan.(bolted to oil pump)

My car oil gauge down to zero and it cut off I thought it had lock down but it didn't it finally crack up I took it home and park it
