car sputter loses power going up hill and then will accelaerate and take off

car runs fine until going up steep incline it will start sputtering , no acceleration almost will
come to a stop and then the engine kicks in and accelerate and takes off.

Ditto. And keep more than 1/4 tank in it..preferably more

changed fuel filter and fuel pump and still sputters and runs rough going up hill.

Replace the ignition coils and use premium gas. It also can be a vacuum leak.

I have a ? About my 1996 grand Marquis its losing power sputtering then shut down wait a minute then might crank and go
