97 Mercury Grand Marquis starting issue

Asked by Alice Jan 23, 2016 at 03:36 PM about the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 Dr LS Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First thing in morning, after one day or 10 days, my car cranks but will not start on the first try.  Usually does on second try, but sometimes it takes a third try.  Then out driving around, it starts up fine.  Has new battery and have had starter checked and it is fine.  Any ideas out there?  Thank you!
