I have a 99 grand marquis. It ran a little rough, I thought it was missing a cylinder. Upon swapping coils i discovered one was bad and i replaced it. Now the car claims two are misfiring. Electrical?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The bad coil was at cylinder 5 and now 1
and 8 have misfire error codes. I can
replace them all with spark plugs for 80 but
i have a sinking feeling this wont solve the
problem.

I just purchased this car for dirt cheap
knowing i could part it out and get my
money back if need be but id like to repair it
if i can come out ahead.

Do a complete tune up. ALL plugs and wires, fuel filter, PCV valve and then you will know if it's a coil pack or not.
