Wiper function 1999 Grand Marquis

When I turn my wipers off they stop while
standing straight up on my
windshield.....and when running the
passenger side wiper travels too far down
overlapping the piece of trim at the bottom
of windshield........all mechanical linkages
appear intact and operating as should.....

It may look good, but I think you have a Stripped Wiper Arm
