99 Mercury Grand Marquis

So I've had a a 99 Mercury Marquis sitting in my
garage for about 2 years, I've been trying to get it to
run lately. So I've changed the fuel pump, cleaned
out the tank and put it back on and I got a new
battery, when I put the key in the ignition I can hear
the fuel pump come on and it obviously working,
and theirs power to the car, but the car doesnt turn
over at all. I need help on what I should look at
next, I want to take the starter somewhere and get
it looked at to see if it's working, but I need some
pointers as to what else I should look at to get this
car running, mind you it's been sitting in my garage
for 2 years

Clean and tight battery cables and grounds are a must. Also check the battery connection to the starter. Is it turning over and just not starting? If so whack the starter with a hammer to see if it will start. Have you replaced the fuel filter? Is the engine stuck due to rust in the cylinders (probably the most unlikely scenario)?

Doesn't turn over at all, doesn't even make a sound. I'm gonna try the hammer thing, and clean up the battery connections. If that doesn't work I'm gonna take out the starter and get it looked at to see if it's actually working.
