2000 grand marquis randomly dies

Hi, I drive a 2000 mercury grand maquis, have no issue
besides it will kinda sputter down then lunge forward.
Sometimes it dies sometimes it doesnt. When it does dies
it triggers the oil light and battery light but thats it, any
suggestions?

Sounds like a bad IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. Hope that helps! Jim
