"cough"

A new MGM owner and loving it! I notice at 50 - 60 mph and "lugging" a little going up a slight grade the motor will "cough". New fuel filter, new plugs, coil packs "look" ok.  any ideas?

You could be using gasoline that doesn't have a high enough octane rating. High-compression engines need higher-octane fuel to avoid detonation and pre-ignition problems.

run a can of sea fome fuel injector cleaner in a full tank of gas,is the best stuff on the market,it could be a cloged injector from this crappy stuff they call gas today.if you can afford it put in 93 oct with the cleaner.
