2002 Grand Marquis LS won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
We parked it after driving it then it wouldn't start
the next day. We replaced the fuel pump and crank
shaft sensor and it still won't start just cranks.
Help please!

Don't just throw parts at it. You need to determine if it is getting fuel and spark. Have the fuel pressure measured at the fuel rail. Check for spark at the spark plugs. How many miles on this Marquis?
The fuel pump was out so we replaced it, it's getting fuel now so that's not the problem. Spark isn't either the bf knows how to check those. It has 176000 miles
If it has fuel at the proper pressure with the injectors pulsing, spark at the plugs that is properly timed and compression with properly cam timing it should run. My guess it is still missing fuel or spark.

Check the fuel pressure. Maybe replace the fuel pump relay. If it's getting gas and spark, and not running, something's wrong here. I second the fuel or spark comment by Bob. Maybe the cam timing belt broke?
