If the key pad lights up when you punch in your code it has power.

It is possible that the keyless entry module is bad. Check for power to it first. Module is located in the driver's door, behind the door panel.,.....http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/molurch/2010-01- 14_153832_dm.png

It could also be that if u have power to the pad there could have been a malfunction with the PCM and the codes could have been reset or somebody is just screwing with you and reset the code themselves

So if that could be the problem, the best solution is to buy another kit huh?

The lights came on after I pressed on the keypad, but either my code or dealership code doesn't work

You need to get the master code number which is the one that came with the car when new. Look in the glove box to see it it was put in there on a sticker, if not you may have to get the code from the keyless entry module. The code will be on a sticker located on the module. You can also get the code from Ford dealer, but there may be a charge for getting it.

I have the master code, but it's not working. Last night I pressed the numbers on the keypad and everything lit up but it didn't locked it or unlocked it
