the brake lights stay on all the time after I replaced the brake light switch is there a certin position it has to be in to work properly?I

Let me add , There is a lighting control module that controls the functions of all lights on the car, So if you have weird acting signal lights or your head lights are doing strange things this could be the guilty cause. and let me say this is also an expensive device OEM part is 300+ so not a part you want to purchase just in case it might be it. Just a thought for all of you out there dealing with lighting issues on the Grand Marquis .
