why won,t the brake lights come on

all the lights come on  but the brake lights and all the fuses are good

There is no adjustment nor is there a barrel switch on this car. If the Hazard flashers and Turn Signals work, Look at the wires coming off of the the brake light switch - it's square with a 2-wire connector about 10" to 12" above the brake pedal - often, the wire(s) break internally. Give them a tug - the one that comes apart is the problem child. Most NAPA or better parts stores have the pigtail to fix it properly.
