Why does the air conditioning keep blowing hot air

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello,
We have a 2005 Mercury Marquis, and the air conditioning keeps blowing hot air. It has been to the car dealer eight times. Also the dash panel gets hot as well. Every time we take it to the dealer they just change one part and a few months later we have the same problem. Any ideas?

IF compressor is running, its your blend door actuator under dash not flipping over to cool side.
Now for the bad news - It's nearly 8 hours labor to remove the dash to access the actuator. There's a short-cut to replacing it that involves removing the right side air bag, the glove box, the right vent tubing and a lot of skin from your arm but, it's a good way to make a mess out of your dash.
