Power steering noise and hard to turn

Got a 2005 mercury gand marquis just installed
new transmission, battery, whole brake roters, Now
hear creak noise when turning and sometimes stiff
or hard to turn. Someone said pump or belt leading
alternator or both how much this cost

Sounds like you need a new serpentine belt, and tensioner. Shouldn't cost much. Belt must be slipping. It runs everything, including the p/s.
