Warning light

Asked by Annarmour Nov 02, 2016 at 04:16 PM about the 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT Spyder

Question type: General

I own a 2004 mitsubishi Eclipse Convertible. A
green car icon with a key inside it just came up
on my dashboard. Car was stopped, parked,
lights off, car off. Don't have a manual, so just
wondering what this is!

I got the same thing on my 2004 Chrysler coupe, which has a Mitsubishi Eclipse drive train but the car icon with key is yellow. When I lock the car with remote, the icon shows up for 15 seconds, then goes out ..never happened before, brand new issue

I tried googling ...no luck, any idea how to find the answer on the net, as to what is causing this icon to light up ?

It just means that you have locked your car. I actually look for that to come on before I close my door.
