Overheating

Is there any coolant in the system? If all fluids are proper measurement and engine is still overheating..Iwould say the radiator iisn't cooling down the coolant as it rruns through the radiator. Now the water pump could be bad and stop working. The pump helps the coolant flow and returns it to radiator back into the engine. The thermostatscan be closed too making flow block and not letting it get cooler. When the engine is running and it gets hot, does the electric fans kick on? If yes feel the air blowing if it is warm its working..if its cold ssomething is wrong. Either a clogged core or pump is failed.

My motor is leaking from the back of the engine on the passenger side and I don't know why the fluid is in the radiator and overflow and it's not overheating from the radiator after I drove for about can a 15 minutes and start to overheat from the back
