Oil leak

Got an oil leak looks like it’s coming from the oil
pan but not sure how would I know where it’s
coming from

Usualy monteros leak from the valve cover or rear o- ring behing the camshaft.

i tightend my pan bolts 1/8 in,so very slight pressure type snug and i was suprised that stoped the leaks.On your first attemp try very gentle tighten.If that doesnt do it,gently increase. Ordinarily i would tighten much more first try,bu this time for once i decided to "think" before tightening
