I was experiencing the same problem. It is the Torque Converter Solenoid not disengaging the torque converter as it should when you slow or come to a stop. My Ace Mechanic unpluged a small electrictal plug on the front right under the hood going into the transmission disabling the Solenoid and the problem was solved. You will experience reduced fuel economy on the highway (since the torque converter does not lock in for overdrive)... otherwise no more problem. The Torque Converter Solenoid is inside the transmission... inside the valve body... not a simple replacement. Best Regards, Zak4208
