engine surges when starting

3.1 engine surges when first stating, rev it up couple times it smoothes out. it will stall and not start back up fot awhile

it only does this at a idle while driving it runs great

My car did this for a while... I replaced the o2 sensor and my fuel regulator hose and havent had any problems since.. usually its not getting enough gas while idoling
