Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My father has owned this car since 1999 and it had 6000 miles
on it. It is a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The gear
shifter is really hard to shift in the morning when I try to put it in
gear and the car was stalling, but my cousin put a new battery
in it and also replaced something to do with the ignition swith. I
think? The  Low Coolant light and ABS light stays on all the
time too.
What do I need to do to fix all this?

Thank you so very much...I was just checking for advice and the funny thing is, is my Dad is 81 years old and he said that he thinks that the problem is the transmission fluid needs to be drained and new put in...He hasn't changed it the whole time that he has had the car. You have been a huge help! Made my Dad feel PROUD!! Thank you!
