First check fuse and relay then blower motor and last blower switch.

And also the coolent temperature sensor.
Age of vehicle can indicate the motor is full of dirt and grit, I notice, I have cleaned them with contact cleaner, then followed with w/d, blew dry and connected to a battery. whirrrrr, the guy says... what's that noise??? They can have a connector fit issue at the motor sometimes and wiggling when it should work, it starts and stops. add this to firebirds already well thought list to check because vehicle is over twenty.
