1997 Grand Am 4 cyl won't start?

the ignition or "start" relay is probably at fault here...not because it is faulty, but because there is an undervoltage condition going on here....12.5 Volts battery voltage must be assured....five years old and the battery is an old man these days with the tin/antimony alloy instead of LEAD....SO get a new battery and wirebrush the end of the 1/0 cable as it attaches to the chassis/ground...removing all corrosion...then bolt them back~

Just had starter rebuilt.want turn over.when trun the key nothing happens.
i have a 1997 pontiac grand am no power what is causing this? turn over key and nothing?
