99 grand am crank no start

i dont know how 2 get by factory alarm

If your locked out by your anti theft you turn the key on for 10 mins (no crank) then shut it off then try to start it if it don't start then do this a total of three times, this resets your anti theft

Not a myth at all Jim, we do it all the time, some times it just needs reprograming, and we do this when we change the ignition switch and key lock cylinder .This is one of the few systems that you can relearn without a tech2 to reprogram. This pats system resistor is in the ignition switch. and if it acts up again after you reprogram you need to change the ignition switch
