whats wrong with my car

My car was driving perfectly I went up a hill a
steep one and all of a sudden my car started
shaking and jerking side to side and I was at a red
light and I had to hurry up and run it because the
car was about to turn off so I pulled into a parking
lot and it was like a little bit of smoke but not a lot
so I tried turning my car back on but when I put it
in Drive it keep stopping and jerking and won't go
anywhere and now I'm stuck Independence Ohio
and I don't know what to do can anybody help me I
put transmission fluid in it thinking that it was
gone change the situation and I had an oil change
last week I don't know what the problem could be
because it never did this this is the first time it's
doing this
