How to fix the back break light on driver side

I got my car in for an oil change and
everything on the car works fine, including
the tail lights. My one back break light
doesn't work and it's not the bulb because
the people replaced it but it still didn't
work. The people said it could of been a
shortage wire issue. The blinkers and the
other break light works, it's just the one
break light. How would I get this fixed?

one wire feeds both brake lights so the problem could be the socket or somewhere between the two brake lights , the bulb needs a good ground as well as power to work , a multi tester would help trace the problem

Also double check the type of bulb your shop used to make sure it is correct. Some bulbs look very similar and they may have installed an incorrect one. If you don't know what type to use, go to your local auto parts store and have them look up the bulb type. Then compare what they tell you to what type was installed.

My service engine light soon as been on for about a week. I took it to AutoZone for the diag test. They said it could be a bad oxygen sensor or fuel switch. I was wondering how long I can drive the car before I get it fixed?
