2000 grand am

I have a 2000 grand am v6... It will turn over but wont
start it does this once every couple of weeks. It wont
stall on me it just wont start... So could it be the the fuel
pump... Or how would i know if my fuel pump is bad ...
Or would my car even start at all... Please help ...

You will need to install a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and watch the pressure since it's an intermittent problem. You may also want to change your fuel filter.

On that fuel rail there is a valve that looks what you would see on a bicycle, that's where you would connect a pressure gauge, if you don't have one and feel comfortable pressing in on the valve stem that will tell you if your getting fuel pressure or not when your engine wont start. NOTE: gasoline WILL spay out if there is fuel pressure. Running correctly it should have between 50-60 psi at idle
