car bogs out sometimes while accelerating, loses amps when ac and heat are turned on,  
on highway it will lose power after 55 mph and lose power going up hill. car idles rough
sometimes and dies sometimes. car died today wont start tries to but wont

car also slightly overheats jumps up to almost 240 degrees F when going up hill or idling or driving slow in hot tempatures

Sure does sound like a fuel pump going bad also replace fuel filter if replacing fuel pump.
