Turn signals stop in cold weather?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is this normal? After a certain temperature
my blinkers, well won't blink. Ill pull down
the stick, it may blink once, but after
continues to be stuck. (Light on). Problem
is it works in the heat and warmth, but
won't after about 40- degrees. I don't see
how the temperature would effect an
ellectric component. Ideas? I replaced
shorts, wires look fine. New batterie.

Probably the flasher relay. $3 part at your local parts store and it is a plug in on the underside of your dash. After you have a new one in hand, go under the driver's side dash panel and look for it. It is usually clipped to a support member.

Blinker fluid is freezing up, install an after market Double Discombobulator which will pre heat the Heifer shaft keeping it free wheeling while allowing the Flux Capacitor to function below 88 MPH and 1.21 Jigawatts.
