GAS SMELL WHEN I START MY CAR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car smells like gas bad when I start it, it just had all the gaskets changed and tune up before I bought it.  The smell goes away after I start driving it, but its very strong at first.  Plus I think it's affecting my mpg.  I'm not sure since I just bought the car.  Where should I start to look in trying to solve the issue?

Your car may be running rich or maybe you have a fuel injector that is leaking. I would check for fuel leaks under the hood.
