how do i put my car in neutral without a key?

Hmm, that can be a bad idea, if you disengage the shifter arm from under the vehicle you could place transmission in neutral, but your steering would still be locked and you would have no power assisted brakes, so letting a car roll like this is not a good idea. If it's simply to move it (for a tow) let the tow truck driver deal with it. If you need to move the car in a garage consider getting some creepers that go under the wheels (Harbor Freight has em cheap), jack up car, slide these under the wheels, and push or pull it to wherever you need it. Another option is to get a locksmith to make you a "valet" key (a non chipped key) that will allow you to unlock the steering wheel and shift lever. You could also look online for "jigglers" (try out keys) but those require some know how to use.
